About the Item

Designed and studio-made by American designer and craftsman James Bearden, these pieces offer a unique blend of extraordinary hand-made quality and striking brutalist visual appeal. Reminiscent of famous Paul Evans pieces, they are constructed of a steel cylinder, with many smaller steel tubes welded on. These are torch-cut, adding to the brutality. A bronze finish is added, then blackened with a torch. This pair was gifted to me by the artist in 2017, making these quite early in his production. The added benefit of this is that the pair you see in these photos is the actual pair you'll get in the mail, and they will arrive much quicker than the ones made to order. COA available, along with a number of other early Bearden pieces. In original, very good condition. I never used them, so practically nonexistent wear and tear.
