A Rare and Elegant Pair of French Modern Neoclassical Iron End or Side Tables . The pieces are in cast iron reflecting a modern Roman sensibility featuring dramatic details including incised tops, applied eagles, ring pulls and hoofed feet. The pieces display a dramatic design and the highest 19th century quality of workmanship. Works like these had a profound effect on later 20th Century French designers such as Andre Arbus.
