About the Item

This tasteful side table is an excellent example of furniture craftsmanship from the Classicism period and originates from Bohemia. It dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The table is elegant and understated lines are highlighted by the use of fine materials, specifically a combination of elm and ash wood. The piece has undergone professional restoration, during which the original polish was revived, restoring the wood natural depth and beautiful grain. The table features a stable construction and a practical drawer, making it not only a valuable collectors piece but also a functional addition that brings a historical atmosphere to any interior. Our professional refurbishing team in Czechia has fully restored it according to the original process. It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. This item features classic Biedermeier elements. Visual simplicity, light-colored woods, and contrasting inlays characterize this style. Relaxed sophistication is the name of the game. Despite original Biedermeier pieces being over 200 years old, the furniture of the movement still feels fresh and modern.
