Lovely Round side table features barley twist legs, 18th or 19th Century Beautiful Side or end table, In perfect condition. Very well cared for This table is raised on a base composed of four turned legs and a cross-shaped stretcher, also turned With his patina, which shows the age of the piece, and its elegant lines Increasingly difficult to find, these traditional tables, no longer in production, are so practical yet so easy to use in any space. They are very solid tables that can accompany future generations, just as they have done so far. From the Renaissance (or earlier) until the beginning of the 20th century, these typical Castilian tables were common in wealthy homes, in living rooms or offices as side tables. Those that have survived are usually quite well preserved, as many were no longer in specific use. They weren't used daily and were usually kept in clean, well-kept rooms. So they have usually survived with the patina of time, the color acquired by the fruit, oak, or chestnut woods with which these tables were usually made. Of course, they are handcrafted tables, very simple in construction. Some have a geometrically carved skirt (more from the 18th century), and some are simple, like in this case (19th century), and others have a plain top (more from the early 20th century). However, the most common and oldest ones usually have this carved scallop all the way around the top. We love these tables and search for them tirelessly.
