About the Item
BRUT was born out of the same design process as our BERLIN and LLOYD tables: the desire to connect stone parts with both simplicity and elegance. In this case, modularity is found in its loose base. The two monumental stands are adjustable to the width you personally prefer, offering more than just one look.
Whether you choose a stone or glass top, this table has an idiosyncratic appearance. Inspired by a form language rooted in Brutalist architecture, BRUT gives any interior space originality and a little edge. This table doesn’t need to shout in a dominant way; it simply has an aura, and that’s why it draws attention.
Brutalism in architecture emphasizes a massive, uncompromising character that feels direct and raw. This table carries a timeless identity precisely because it rejects trends and unnecessary ornamentation. With its dystopian form language, Brutalism evokes a very powerful atmosphere.

The story of Kiwano emerges in 2017 as a concept store in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. As a multidisciplinary concept store, we have created a space to showcase the pieces of independent artist and designers, as well as our own creations. In this way we have had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous artisans. We were able to establish a strong bond with both our customers and producers.
