About the Item
A very fine pair of 20th Century richly patinated and well figured mahogany and kingwood marble top bedside chests or tables of exceptional quality, neat proportions and ormolu mounted throughout. This stunning pair are finely carved and quarter veneered throughout with a striking Sienna Marble top of rectangular form with decorative serpentine front and fluted ormolu gallery rail raised above three drawers fitted with decorative ormolu foliate swan neck handles above a simple serpentine shaped frieze. Supported on elegantly tapering cabriole leg, terminating on finely cast ormolu foliate mounted sabot foot.
