About the Item
A sculptural 1990s French side table defined by bold material contrast and graphic rhythm. The clover-shaped top is composed of hand-cut slate, laid in a radiating pattern and encircled by a thick brass band. Four cylindrical legs in blackened steel ground the piece with weight and balance. An interplay of geometry, texture, and elemental form. Signed ‘MARLO’ along the brass edge.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with minor tarnishing and surface patina to the brass band, particularly around the rivets. The blackened steel legs show light scuffing and wear near the base, consistent with use.
