An elliptically shaped table with hinged sides and rounded eased edges in wide plank and wonderfully grained mahogany, standing on square section legs with swing gates under a straight apron. Known as a hunt table as designed to hold buffet items after the hunt. Circa 1840. Closed width: 17"
