This impressive large gym table dates from the 1930s and has been professionally restored with great care. Originally designed for physical training and gymnasium use, it features a solid wooden construction and a generously padded leather top that shows a beautiful, authentic patine consistent with its age.
The table has been sensitively reduced in height to 50 cm, making it perfectly suited for contemporary interiors - as a low bench, daybed or statement coffee table, while preserving its original character and proportions.
The robust wooden frame ensures excellent stability, while the leather surface adds warmth, texture and a strong sculptural presence. A rare and highly decorative piece that bridges functional history and modern interior use.
