About the Item

A George III tripod table of wonderful proportions and great untouched colour. This wonderful example of great 18th century design has survived in the most spectacular condition. Having a well drawn baluster column under the so-called “Bird Cage” terminating into three sweeping boldly executed legs. All in all this spectacular table has been loved over the years and is exactly what great patina is all about. This Model Table is exceptionally useful in all sorts of settings, from a drinks table in between a pair of chairs, a stand for flowers or just simply as a small supper table. The fact that the top can be flipped up makes it the perfect acompaniment for almost every situation and without filling up too much space it becomes a feature surely every room should have.
