An opulent Louis XV style center table crafted in the second half of the 19th century. This remarkable piece stands out for its carved and gilded wooden structure, richly adorned with rocaille, foliage, and shell motifs typical of the French Rococo style.
The sinuously contoured top is made of veined beige Siena marble, bringing both refinement and brightness to the ensemble. The curved legs, embellished with high-relief carvings and connected by a central sculpted stretcher, reflect the craftsmanship of exceptional cabinetmaking.
The original gilding is well preserved, with a beautiful patina that enhances the piece’s authenticity. Ideal as a presentation table in a living room, entrance hall, or study, this center table adds a touch of prestige to any classic or eclectic interior.
