About the Item
This is a SUPERB Antique L&JG Stickley Rare Square Table c 1900. The table is complete with seven (&) leaves to accommodate up to 12 people. The table has an L&JG Stickley signature (as pictured). This table is very unusual - this is the first we've seen in nearly 50 years! We spent a lot of time adjusting this table to be sure it is stable. Many like this have problems, but this table is STURDY
STRONG and ready for use in your home or office made out of 1/4 sawn oak..
This table is 54 inches by 54 inches with 5 legs with original metal foot to each leg and with 6 original leaves.
With leaves the table can seat 12-14 people and its easy to open and close with no problem.
With 6 leaves the table size is 54 inches BY 121 inches.
We try to make sure buyers and see the correct color of the table and we do all the work to have pictures outdoor, sure we can take picture in a room with
make up photograph and the pictures will looks great.....But
the picture we have are not the best and the actual table is much nicer.
With the lighter color its not easy to get good pictures due to reflection of light in the camera.
Please note: Most "Stickley" and “Charles Limbert” items and many Roycroft items online are reproductions, or outright fakes, in 1974 a man named Alfred Audi, along with his wife Aminy, approached the widow of Leo Stickley before she passed. He purchased the L&JG Stickley company, along with the brand name "L&JG Stickley," and he manufactured furniture "In The Style" of the original Stickley work.
We purchase most of our Stickley and Limbert furniture from well known collections in New York and in Philadelphia. We may pay a little more but we get the BEST. We have over 5,000 pieces of real Stickley, Roycroft, and Limbert furniture. We buy from collections in New York and Pennsylvania. We buy only the best. We pay a little more than other dealers, but we get only the very best. We don't deal with "problem" furniture. BTW - We have dealt with original Gustav Stickley items (circa early 1900s) since early 1970s in New York. For the last 44 yrs we have had a retail shop.
