French Vintner s Wine Tasting Table with Tilt-Top Butterfly Wedge Support
Located in Atlanta, GA
A vintage French vintner's wine tasting table. This French wine tasting table has the typical tilt top, and butterfly wedge support. The table is nicely raised and supported by its trestle base and thickly carved legs. The wood is a beautiful light to medium toned brown with an excellent and rich patina, which we believe adds charm and history to this piece. The table measures 4 ft diameter, making a great size for breakfast area or wine cellar. This vintage table is a truly excellent example of a French wine tasting or vintners table...

Stripped and Parcel Paint French Rococo Style Center Table with Rouge Marble Top
Located in Dallas, TX
This elegant and beautifully carved wooden center table from France incorporates design elements from two of the most popular French periods. The intricate hand-carved base exhibits aspects of the Rococo style: highly ornamental with asymmetrical carvings, scrolling curves and gilding. Although the wood has since been stripped, the table has a few faint traces of gold remaining in places. The white gesso/paint has been partially left throughout the table base and then glazed over to produce a beautiful and unique finish. This table can also be described as a Louis XIV “table à gibier...
