Italian Chinoiserie style black lacquered tole tray table with folding ebonized wood base. It features a delightful, intricately hand-painted design with butterflies and flowers in gilt and soft accent colors. The butterflies are all different with charming features and add a touch of whimsy to the table's elegance. The gilt has retained its vibrance and looks beautiful against the black background. Tray is set upon a folding base with fluted turned legs and gilt accents. It is in good condition with some age-appropriate patina to the base.
