About the Item
19th century Louis XV style tulipwood parquetry sewing table
Ladies small sewing table with a lift-up lid. The interior has the original velvet inset. Beneath is a tray containing compartments for sewing accessories. The base is fitted with a sliding basket and angular cabriole legs. The table is finely inlaid with Louis-cube design veneer, set in brass banding.
The condition is very good with some minor lifting to the brass inlay. Loss to one bronze foot cuff.
