About the Item
French Washstand in Oak Louis Philippe Style
A delightful small solid oak washstand from south-west France featuring an inset variegated grey and white marble with matching upright marble to three sides.
On top is a pivoting matching mirror in a moulded frame with brass wing nut adjustment.
Flanking each side are matching towel rails turned in oak.
Below the marble top is a full-width drawer with turned oak drawer pulls.
Leading down the crisply turned front legs is a reset shelf for storage that additionally creates stability in the piece.
Overall the washstand is in great condition for its age after being checked over and re-waxed in our workshop.
The mirror will be removed for shipping.
The jug in the photos is not included.
