This beyond beautiful Art Deco period French writing table by Maison Dominique was designed by the French duo André Domin (1883-1962) & Marcel Genevrière (1885-1967), better known as Dominique.
Entirely veneered in precious woods, showing inlaid angular parquetry on top- boasts two capacious cabinets with doors flanking a large knee-hole area, an open shelf unit on the left side for plenty of storage space, furthermore the niches that open on the apron offer more space for documents, books or magazines storage.
The stunning design of this vintage desk is enriched by an additional removable compartment placed on the desk top, this two doors shelf unit opens to reveal a letterbox or glove compartment and can also serve as a convenient shelf or support surface thanks to its wide triangular shaped top.
