About the Item
A refined late 19th to early 20th century satinwood dressing table, beautifully hand-painted in the Sheraton Revival style. The serpentine top is bordered with delicate floral garlands, while the drawers and cupboard doors are adorned with finely painted urn and floral sprays. The central section, styled as a bank of drawers, opens to reveal a concealed cupboard, offering discreet storage. Retaining its original brass handles and escutcheons, the piece stands on elegant shaped legs and features a decorative backboard with floral detail. A graceful and versatile piece that would bring period charm to a bedroom or dressing room.
