Vincent Van Den Meersch was a belgian painter who played an important role in the Belgian contemporary art. Until the early 1950s, Vincent Van Den Meersch painted expressionist works which evolved in a new design characterized by form and color ; constructivism. His work represents pure geometric abstraction with simple basic shapes such as circles, diamonds, triangles and squares. This gouache on paper is signed and dated 1970.
