Cisco Jiménez was born in 1969 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, México. An industrial designer by trade, Cisco's work is often non-academical and gives an ironic opinion on the marginal side of reality and the political and social issues. A wandering artist since his youth, Cisco's iconography surges in the roots of his birthplace to be exhibited around the world. Colorful and hilarious, Cisco's art slides between contemporary art conventions and folk art. Cisco has exhibited in Mexico's top galleries and collections and has been part of the biennials of Venice and Montreal.
