About the Item

This piece is about exposure — about what’s left behind when time, pressure, and failure strip everything else away. "Concrete + Wire" is a 5' x 5' wall sculpture from the DEGRADATION line, created through a process of breaking down and rebuilding. Layers of pigment, acid, and embedded steel are pushed to their limits, then carefully brought back to life. The surface is fractured, peeled, and cut away, revealing the skeletal steel wire grid that once held it all together. It speaks to collapse, erosion, and the fight to come back. It’s about ruin reclaimed. Structure rediscovered. Beauty resurrected. Every mark, every tear, every exposed edge is intentional — a record of process, tension, and control surrendered. This isn’t just material. This is narrative. This is transformation through destruction. This is Concrete + Wire.
