Litho is a contemporary design project rooted in the ancestral essence of chukum, a natural finish from Yucatán that blends the bark of the Havardia albicans tree with limestone. Born from an admiration for authenticity, Litho began by crafting exclusive pieces in this distinctive material, celebrating its organic textures and timeless character.
Over time, the project expanded to embrace other natural elements—wood, metal, stone—each worked with an intentional, imperfect aesthetic that honors the raw beauty of nature. The resulting pieces feel both grounded and evocative, carrying the quiet strength of tradition into modern spaces.
Based in Guadalajara, Litho thrives in a creative and collaborative environment, working alongside renowned Mexican artists and interior design studios to produce objects that are as much art as they are function.
