Humboldt County Line freeway sign from Northern California. Made in 1965. Great piece of Marijuana history as well as transportation Americana. 7 feet wide. Green steel sign with white lettering and cats eye reflectors. In Humboldt County, marijuana is known simply as 'the plant.' A vast majority of their residents are growers. Decades before weed was legalized, Humboldt was the Mecca for marijuana growers in the United States. Some bullet holes and wear to sign. Stamped CA , 65' on the back. Good vintage condition.
