About the Item

Title “Impala” by Ronnie Rysz, 2014 — Surreal Mixed-Media Drawing with Dual-Head Composition ⸻ Description A powerful and surreal mixed-media work by contemporary American artist Ronnie Rysz (b. 1982), titled “Impala Asset Management” and dated 2014. Executed in brush, pen, ink, graphite, marker, and spray paint on paper, this composition merges meticulous draftsmanship with conceptual depth. The central figure — an impala with overlapping heads and two sets of eyes — is surrounded by stylized birds rendered in Rysz’s signature graphic linework. The dual features suggest motion and psychological tension, exploring ideas of perception, adaptation, and interconnectedness. Rysz’s bold monochrome palette and precise linear carving evoke the aesthetic of linocut or woodcut prints, while the layered media give the piece a dynamic contemporary edge. Both elegant and slightly surreal, the work blends natural beauty with abstract design, making it a standout piece for collectors of modern wildlife-inspired or graphic art. Professionally framed under glass. Medium: Brush, Pen, Ink, Graphite, Marker, and Spray Paint on Paper Dimensions: 30” H × 22.25” W (artwork) Date: 2014 Artist: Ronnie Rysz Condition: Excellent — professionally framed, ready to hang. ⸻ Artist Biography Ronnie Rysz (b. 1982, Stamford, CT) is a contemporary fine artist known for his bold, graphic visual language and refined craftsmanship.
