This is a wood sticks and handpainted Spaniard fan. It depicts four different scenes related to Spain. Starting in the left, there is a bullfighter fighting a bull in a bullring; then an 18th Century scene of a horse carriage with a lady inside it in a country landscape while some people sitting in the grass appear selling pottery; next, there is a bouquet of carnations (the national flower of Spain) and finally some women with flamenco dresses dancing in a square.
