About the Item
A whimsical modernist figurative ceramic tile wall art installation by Israeli artist Ruth Faktor (Faktorowicz). A unique composition with a theme of friendship. The tile was hand-painted with the artist's unique glazes. The ceramic tiles are framed with floating glass and a simple wooden frame. Faktor was born in Ramat-Gan, Israel in 1937. She studied ceramics with Israeli's leading sculptor, A. Doctor and Z. Guri, a noted ceramist in Israel. From 1973 to 1977 Ruth studied at the Ramat-Gan Art School where she specialized in sculpture and modern art. From a private collection. Dimensions: Dimensions: 18.5"h x 1.5"d x 49"w (framed). In very good condition.
