Shin Kuno was born in Nagoya
He graduated from the art department at the University of Tokyo
He received awards for works he entered in the Shinseisaku-Kyokai Exhibitions
This led to a Rockefeller Scholarship.
His work was exhibited in The New Japanese Painting and Sculpture 10/19/66- 1/2/67 at the Museum of Modern Art.
MOMA retains an example from this show.
