About the Item
Rosemarie Toogood was a mid-century California artist, known for her hand-painted enamel art on copper dishes, and in rarer instances ashtrays. Her work often featured original designs like negative stencil trees decorated with colorful polymer beads, snowy white accents on a forest green enameled shallow dish and the rare floral pattern. The soft white background on this piece is vibrantly colored with green, yellow, brown and orange flowers making it a statement piece for inside the home or outside in the backyard. If you have any other pieces from the 70s this will fit in nicely! The great design and beautiful enamel colors hand-painted on this copper ashtray is in great vintage condition with no chips and is marked on the underside with the Rosemarie Toogood customary hand-crafted sticker.
