About the Item
This is an intense artwork created in the 1975 by the Italian artist Vanni Viviani, engraving a sheet of polystirene.
The angel is a positive figure that gives love and armony, he is dancing drawing in the air an heart and a leaf.
Vanni Viviani was born in 1937 in the province of Mantua, Italy. He moved to Bolzano at a very young age, where he began his artistic activity, based on both pictorial and sculptural figuration. In 1963 he lived and worked in Parma, actively participating in the Emilian-Lombard avant-gardes and where he stood out among the young protagonists of the symbol current for his unmistakable personality.
In the 70s he moved to via Brera in Milan, in the heart of the artistic ferment of the city, capital of European art and it is in the Milanese context that he felt the need to change his representation from the collectivity to the individuality of the apple, a fruit full of symbolism that would be at the center of his research for a long time. The critics followed him with growing interest in his creative parable.
