An antique pair of coat of arms, hand painted in the Gris de Versailles technique on antique bulging outward Pinewood shields originating from a Tuscan estate, in good condition. The very decorative heraldry crests depict the typical symbols of nobility the fleurs de lys and the eagle and the upright lions surrounded by elaborate scrolls. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century, Tuscany, Italy. A: 50.5" H x 40" W x 3" D B: 51.5" H x 39.5" W x 3" D
