Antique Embroidered Flag – Theaterverein Concordia Haaren (1902) – 66H x 56W – No. 1581 Magnificent antique embroidered flag belonging to the Theaterverein Concordia Haaren, a theatrical and cultural society founded in 1902. Front: symbolic representation inspired by Antiquity, featuring a figure holding a lyre (symbol of art and music) and a laurel wreath (symbol of glory and honor). Back: crest with the inscription “T.H.V. Concordia Haaren 1902” and the motto: “Wo vereinte Kräfte walten, kann nur Großes sich gestalten” (Where forces are united, only great things can be achieved.) Finely handcrafted work, richly embroidered with gold and colored threads. A rare piece, perfect for collectors of antique textiles, enthusiasts of the history of German cultural societies, or as vintage décor.
