About the Item

A set of three original gypsum art blocks by Sarasota artist Sean Coleman (b.1965). Described as “arrangeable art” the three blocks each feature a different Art Deco French travel poster designed by “Eff D'Hey” commissioned by the French government in the 1930’s to promote travel and tourism to the French Riviera. Each has a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist in the back. Dimensions per block. Eff D'Hey was the pseudonym of artist Francis Dujardin (b.1910, d.1984). He was a member of the Association of Naturalists of Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes and co-founder of the magazine "Entomops", a quarterly journal of entomology.
