About the Item
Brown’s Mule was one of the most famous American chewing tobacco brands of its time. Factory tools rarely survived-most were discarded or melted. Plates like this were used from 1910 to 1935 to imprint the brand name into pressed tobacco bricks. This piece is highly desirable among collectors of Early American advertising, tobacco memorabilia, industrial molds and printing plates, or Americana/decorative wall hangings. This is a very unique piece that would appeal to those with creatively eclectic tastes. These pieces display beautifully as framed or mounted industrial art and this particular size is perfect for many interesting framing concepts. From industrial to farm country, this piece would be a great addition to a variety of well curated environments. Truly this is a rare find.
