Beautiful small stitch embroidered fabric framed in a carved and gilded frame, with a small mirrored part. The embroidery depicts a romantic scene, with a woman sitting on the balcony of a terrace with columns and plants. The woman wears brightly colored village clothes, with a Neapolitan tambourine next to her. On the back you can see figures dancing happily under a porch, with a landscape background. This particular painting conveys a sense of joy, rest and elegance, thanks to its beauty and the attention to detail in its creation. Italian manufacture from the early 19th century. Measurements: H x W x D overall 88 x 74.5 x 6.5cm; H x W work only 68 x 53cm
