About the Item

Decorate an office or study with this exquisite pewter canine wall art. Crafted in France circa 1900, and set inside the original beautiful wood frame, the dachshund artwork is embossed into a heavy sheet of pewter. The sculptural wall art depicts two sweet hunting dog faces attached together, all sculpted in high relief with intricate detailed etchings throughout. The wall decor is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful silver finish, and set in an elegant frame with the patinated walnut finish. A must have for any animal lover!
