A minutely embroidered Chinese silk picture of a sea eagle, the bird in flight over foaming waves in shades of blue and turquoise with white wave tips on a pale blue ground. Signed in red on the gilt frame upper right ‘???? ?? “Peng-si xiansheng huicun” [Gift with best wishes for Master/ Teacher Peng Si]’ and lower left?? ?? “Tang Yi jingzeng” [Gift with due respect from Tang Yi]”.
