Extremely rare first-year-of-release Australian Daybill film poster for The Empire Strikes Back. Arguably the best film of the Star Wars franchise, Noriyoshi Ohrai's design that features on this original movie poster is certainly one of the most sought-after designs for the title.
This vintage movie poster is sized 13 1/4 x 28 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
Comes with fantastic provenance. From the personal collection of someone who worked in the cinema industry for over 60 years in New Zealand. They started out in the late 50s putting the posters up around town, shortly after as a projectionist and from the 1980s onwards, owner of a number of cinemas themselves.

- Condition:Minor structural damages. Originally folded (as issued) but stored flat a long time and fold-lines softened. Very slight colour offset on original printing causing the image to be slightly blurred. Paper loss top left corner and little on right and bottom edges. Pin-holes.
