Four framed prints, ornithology. Twentieth century.
Lot of four colored engravings with birds: a pair of common terns or black terns and another of black terns (sand martin) in one; pair of spotted ducks and pair of common or small grebes (pintail duck; litthle grebe); In the following engraving two other specimens of Kentish Plover on two of Arenaria (Kentish plover; turnstone); and in the last one the species dunlin or common sandpiper and sandpiper or sandpiper (dunlin; sanderling). The engravings are very similar to those that appeared in the 19th century in books on Natural Sciences. ·
