A large antique Victorian plaster plaque in classical relief inscribed 'C E Welstead 1898 Sculp'.
The impressive scale and hanging hooks only add to this charming yet intriguing decorative sculpture, perfect for an interior wall display in any period property looking to add neoclassical flair.
This elegant plaque depicts a central fountain to the centre of sea horses and scrolling acanthus leaves, complimented by a dark oak frame.
The inscription across the base is faint but partially readable indicating its age.
