This highly decorative limited edition porcelain picture is from the zodiac series, in this case Pisces, by Ernst Bruzek, made in the 1970s in Germany.
The picture of fish is from the edition entitled "Man and His Stars" and is limited to 1000 pieces. This handcrafted piece is by the German artist Ernst Bruzek and was produced by the German porcelain manufacturer Sophienthal. The porcelain plaque is inscribed on the back with all relevant information, as well as the artist's signature.
The round porcelain plate shows a face in profile, with various fish that were hand-carved and also artist signed.
Measurements approx.: height 21,14 in - 53,7 cm, width 21,06 in - 53,5 cm, depth 2,56 in - 6,5 cm, measurements of the porcelain plate 12,80 in - 32,5 cm.
The porcelain plate is mounted in a wooden frame, which is surrounded by brown velvet.
