About the Item
A well done Mid Century Abstract Ink reminiscent of the Chilean Surrealist Roberto Matta. In deep colors of Brown, Blue and Black with an upward reaching forked element and various lines and bursts of color. There is a possible Artist’s mark located bottom right. Housed in a brushed brass frame with Purple mat.
Dimensions: 30.25” high by 14.25” wide by 1” deep.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include wrinkling to the art, some interior stains on the glass towards the bottom and acid burned mat edge and some wear to the brass. While reframing is recommended, the artwork retains a strong Mid Century presentation.
