About the artist:
Born in Paris, studied with Cormon, Delance, E. Renard, and Waltner. He began to exhibit at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1903 and at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1915. He then directed an academy in Montparnasse
area of Paris, France.
