About the Item

Richard Durando-Togo is a painter of Argentine origin who spent most of his life in Italy and France, in the latter country he settled permanently in 1934. He is a self-taught artist with a very personal style; light and shadow are often juxtaposed with light and dark to create an atmosphere of mystery. The theme of the nonchalant and attractive woman often returns to his work. The painting is signed with the artists’ name in the bottom right corner.
