Set of Five Roe Deer Trophies on Carved Plaques Germany around 1920 A set of five antique roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) trophies mounted on carved wooden plaques. The trophies were shot in Germany around 1920. A great addition to every rustic cabin decoration. Measures: Width: 4.72" (12 cm) Height: 6.3" (16 cm) Depth: 10.63" (27 cm) Trophies are mementos from the hunted game, which are kept by the huntsmen as a souvenir or decorative item. For many centuries it was a tradition to collect trophies. Nowadays exactly these are becoming more and more popular as decorative highlights in hunting lodges. This article contains parts of animal origin, which belong to non-endangered and non-threatened animals and follow the US Fish Wildlife regulations. They are not listed on CITES Appendix I and II.
