About the Item

A striking and most elegant set of three Continental turn of the century Louis XVI st. hand painted decorative wall panels. Each rectangular panel displays beautiful finely detailed hand painted scrolled foliate designs and wonderful colorful blooming flowers raised on a podium with swaging blooming floral garlands. At the center of each is an outstanding urn with a luxuriant flower arrangement set within a gazebo with additional exquisite urns with blooming flowers at each side and a hanging canopy with charming musical instruments. All original patina throughout. Side panel dimensions: H: 71.75" L: 30.25" D: 3.25" Middle panel dimensions: H: 71.75" L: 41" D: 3.25".
