About the Item

Baroque-rocaille style cast and chiseled silver pendant-reliquary with openwork frame and glass front. On the back is a transparent glass with red wax seal crossed by original cords, still intact. The interior, decorated with paper, canutille and sequins, holds three relics accompanied by handwritten cartouches: Top: cartouche "Ex habitu ...," with textile fragment. Bottom right: cartouche "De ... Julia," referable to Santa Giulia, with small fragment of fabric. Bottom left: cartouche no longer legible, with whitish fragment visible. Dimensions: 8 × 5 × 1 cm approx Weight: 33g Condition: Good preservation, with minimal oxidation to silver and natural signs of time. The sale refers only to the reliquary as a vintage artistic and devotional artifact, not to the sacred contents.
