Terracotta Wall Plate with Whimsy Children in Farmer Costumes by Johann Maresch A large terracotta wall plate depicting a relief couple of farmers childs in a forest enviroment. Manufactured by Johann Maresch, Aussig Austria in the late 19th century. The plate is marked on the back ''JM'' and numbered ''5909''. Very good condition. artfour is an owner-managed trading company dealing in Black Forest woodcarvings, antler furniture and an impressive variety of unique decorative items.
