About the Item
Limited edition original etching by American artist Don Swann (1889-1954). Titled a "A Spring Shower", piece was etched onto copper plates prior to printing.
Swann's works has been exhibited in many cities in the United States and forms part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, Congressional Library. The Smithsonian Institute has also acquired 33 original etchings for the Division of Graphics Arts.
His son Don Swann Jr carries on his work as a print artist himself.
