Early 20th Century Woven Ceremonial Royal Fan, Chokwe People, D. R. Congo A rare and finely woven fan attributed to the Chokwe ethnic group of Angola, southwestern D. R. Congo and northern Zambia, likely made for the royal court. There is a similar piece in the Museum of Anthropological Archaeology, University of Michigan. Ex.
