Early to Mid-20th Century Beaded Cache-Sexe, Kirdi People, Cameroon An unusual cache-sexe from the Kirdi tribe of Cameroon made of colorful glass trade beads, fiber string, and cowrie shells. With a great graphic geometric pattern, it stands 18 inches high and would have been worn around the waist as a modesty garment. Sold with a custom base, as shown. Ex. private collection, Los Angeles
